HOW DO I ACTIVATE PARENTAL CONTROL FOR UPC TV?

You have the option of activating parental control for your UPV TV products. This means that you can set it up so that the following actions are only possible after entering the correct PIN code:

Watching certain programmes/channels
Buying OnDemand content

HOW TO ACTIVATE PARENTAL CONTROL:

Open the settings and click on “Parental Control”.

If you do this with the UPC TV Box, please enter your PIN code. If you use the UPC TV App, enter your My UPC password.

Set the desired age limit.

The corresponding programmes/channels can then only be viewed after entering the correct PIN code.

Important: The PIN code for parental control is synchronised on the UPC TV App and the UPC TV Box. This means: If you change this PIN code using the UPC TV App, the changes will be automatically applied to the UPC TV Box – and vice versa. The age settings for parental control remain independent, which means you can select them individually for the TV App and the TV Box.

If you want to change your PIN code, click on “Change PIN” in the parental control settings and select a new PIN code. If you have never changed your PIN code, the code is set to 0000 by default. In this case, we recommend that you replace the standard PIN code with a number combination of your choice.
