PROBLEMS WITH INTERNET AND ROAMING WHEN ABROAD
Here is what you can do:
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY SIGNAL, MANUALLY SELECT A NETWORK
Use the Mobile Assistant to manually select a mobile network. Choose the phone's brand and model, go to «Roaming» and choose «How to manually select a mobile network».
MAKE SURE DATA ROAMING IS ACTIVE
In order to use mobile Internet abroad, data roaming has to be activated. You can do this in your mobile phone settings. Bear in mind that using mobile Internet when abroad may generate extra costs, depending on the terms of your subscription.
CHECK IF YOU HAVE SET A DATA ROAMING LIMIT
- If you still don't have Internet access, check if you have set a data roaming limit. To do so log into My UPC, go to «My Products» and check the «Total Cost Limit» section.
IF YOU STILL HAVE ISSUES, SWITCH TO FLIGHT MODE OR REBOOT YOUR DEVICE
If the issue persists, try turning flight mode on and off. If nothing happens, remove and reinsert the SIM card and reboot the device afterwards.
