Questions about the DigiCard
How long does the digital channel search take?
This varies from TV set to TV set. The channel search can take up to 30 minutes.
Please always use the setting details on the digital TV info card when carrying out the channel search. It is included in the package with the DigiCard.
What do customers need in order to receive Digital TV with the DigiCard?
This requires a CI+-compatible TV unit with DVB-C tuner. Around 95% of the television sets available today are already CI+-ready. Over time, more and more devices equipped with CI+ will be available as the CI+ standard catches on.
Features of the DigiCard
The DigiCard allows digital TV without set-top-box. At the moment, it does not allow all features that the Mediabox offers like TV on Demand or Video on Demand. The television must support CI+ technology.
